I would like to know..
Which pageant queen wields more power-- Miss America or Miss USA?? Moreover..what the hell is the dif? Do we REALLY need two? There's a recession going on , folks, and I feel that it doesn't behoove our nation to sink our $$ and resources into *TWO* big pageants. Now, the practical thing to do is have the current Miss America and the current Miss USA face off-- you know, with broadswords.."Highlander" style--and determine it that way ( if Miss USA triumphs, then we only have Miss USA pageants ...OR if Miss America is the one to come away from the match undecapitated, then it's Miss America pageants from then on..)

I didn't know there was a Miss USA and a Miss America until you pointed this out. I really hate those sort of things. However, I'd like to see the broadsword faceoff. Now that would be worth watching - although I'm sure the man that organized the faceoff would make them compete in their bikinis.
